Director Liu has held the positions of Director of the Nursing Education Centre, Guangdong Province, Doctoral Tutor at the Southern Medical University, Department of Nursing, and Zhujiang Hospital Director and Director of Nurses.

During her 40 years of nursing, she has served in the capacity as nurse, nursing educator and nursing director. She has been engaged in full-time clinical care and teaching since 2008. Her life-long love and dedication to nursing as a career sparked her participation in the Guangdong Province “Eleventh Five-Year” care management reform and practice. The meetings involved co-operation between specialist nurses in training program design, implementation and follow-up care to promote the development of nursing in Guangdong.
