Michael Chan is a professional educator and counsellor.

He was educated at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Social Sciences and the University of South Australia, Master of Psychological Counselling. In addition, he holds a University of Hong Kong Certificate in Education as well as counsellor certification in Hong Kong and China. After a successful career as principal of Queen Maud Secondary School, he turned his lifelong interest counselling into a second career as a counsellor.
