Guangdong Nursing Education Center was established in 1988. Ms Li Shiluan spearheads the Guangdong Provincial Health Department’s proposal to jointly set up in Guangdong a “Guangdong Nursing Education Centre”, to improve the training and to continue the education for nursing staff and academic exchange between China and America.

Nursing Education Center of Guangdong province to "three closes-to" for the purpose of to build up scientific care for the nurses and evidence-based practice educational platform, for the development of an international standard of care nursing personnel to provide professional training services.

Guangdong Nursing Education Centre is assist the health administrative departments to organize nursing continuing education, training nursing management, nursing education and clinical care expertise, organizations both China and other countries for nursing academic exchanges and cooperation. According to the relevant departments of the administrative for develop, specification, promote the guidelines and standard. Also, develop the promotion and application of the nursing consultation and nursing technological achievements; participation in the nursing technology and scientific research identified.

Nursing Education Center of Guangdong to invites interested in clinical nursing education in advanced nursing, “Nursing Education Center of Guangdong” is combining medical and nursing care for the development of continuing education institutions for nurses. The center will be standing in the nursing career development and combined with the hospital care of professional development. To build a set of care management, clinical care, nursing education training courses. Base on a senior specialist of nursing practice, introduction, absorption and with an international perspective and high level of educational resources, cultivate talents to meet the needs of the province of the nursing discipline to help them embark on clinical nurse specialist, and truly become with international standards of care academic leaders.

The Hong Kong College of Mental Health Nursing Ltd.

The Hong Kong College of Mental Health Nursing Ltd. established in May 22, 1998, is a non-profit educational organization. A Continuing Nursing Education Provider accredited by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. The established main purpose is to guide through a variety of professional courses, academic research and exchanges in order to improve the quality and standard of mental health care in Hong Kong.

Addition to organize different mental health nursing programs, the College will sponsor members to participate in major international nursing Annual Meeting or care co-organized exchange with other countries, I hope to be able to move with the times, so that mental health care services in Hong Kong to further towards the international arena.

Regeneration Society

Regeneration Society established in May 1991, is a government registered charitable rehabilitation services agency. The majority of funds are donated by generous people and institutions. "Healthy reconstruction, to breathe new life" is the goal: to promote rehabilitation and health management, the commitment to provide diversified services for the Chronic Illness of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), (Systemic Sclerosis SS) and Pain.

Purpose

  • Introduce the rehabilitation education to help chronically ill patients to self-help and mutual help for a speedy recovery, and the re-integration into the community
  • Improve public health awareness, and raise public concern for the chronically ill

Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC)

Founded in 1923, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) is a subsidiary organization under Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association (KWHCA). In 2002, the College opened up the four-year program of “Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program”. The College launched a “Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing (PDAN) Program” in collaboration with the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong in 2008, has so far opened a total of seven specialist courses.

The following which in 2010, a “Master of Nursing Science (MNS) Program” has been running under cooperation with Sun Yat-Sen University for further raise of nursing education to an upper level. KWNC puts emphasis on humanistic care and multicultural education cultivating qualified nursing students with both excellent character and competence; meanwhile holistic nurture of these nursing talents is also a focus in education.

To push forward Macau’s academic research and development in nursing and health sciences, KWNC launched a periodical “Macau Journal of Nursing” in November 2001, with the aim to promote the development of nursing and health sciences, to enhance the quality of nursing technique and nursing education, and to sum up the nursing development in the new epoch.
